Standard Training Session for Revit Architecture DAY 1 • Introduction o Introduction to BIM • Introduction to Autodesk Revit o Revit Interface o Available tools o Modelling in Revit o Overview of commands • Revit Project Set up o Central and Local Revit Files o Coordinate System (Acquire/Publish) o Revit Model linking o Creating Levels and Grids o Coordination Review • Creating Views and Sheets o Scope boxes & dependant views o View properties and visibility including Graphic Overrides o Sheet Templates • Categories, Families, and Parameters • Creating Walls o Custom Wall Types and Compound Structure o Editing Wall Profiles (Joining and Cutting) o Wall Openings / Hosted Sweeps • Creating Floors and Ceilings o Floor/Slab Edges o Foundations (Walls/Footing) • Creating Roofs o Creating and modifying Footprints o Roof slopes o Attaching Roofs / Joining Roofs • Creating Stairs o Different stair types and properties o Editing and modifying stairs • Creating Rooms o Rooms and spaces explained o Modifying/controlling rooms o Creating Zones and Colour Schemes for Strategy Drawings • Tags and Annotations DAY 2 • Efficiency Plugins (Rushforth, Xrev, E-transmit) • Creating an Architectural project o Working with Linked Models o Creation of full Architectural model including FF&E o Producing set of Architectural Drawings One-on-One Training can be customised to clients needs.
